...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM EST
TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Wet and heavy snow occurring. The heaviest snow will
occur through 10 PM. Plan on difficult travel conditions,
including during the evening commute tonight and the morning
commute on Tuesday. Expect total snow accumulations of 4 to 7
inches by the time the snow diminishes on Tuesday morning.
Isolated higher amounts over 10 inches are expected over the
higher terrain from the Michigamme Highlands through Negaunee.

* WHERE...Baraga and Marquette Counties.

* WHEN...Until 1 PM EST Tuesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds gusting as high as 35 mph will cause
areas of blowing and drifting snow, especially later tonight
into Tuesday morning near Lake Superior. Significant reductions
in visibility are expected. Because the snow will be wet and
heavy, snow removal will be more difficult. The wet snow and ice
will make roads very slippery.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning for snow and blowing snow means severe
winter weather conditions are occurring. If you must travel, keep
an extra flashlight, food and water in your vehicle in case of an
emergency.
