For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure averaging 30.10 inches will shift quickly
east into Quebec today as a clipper low pressure deepens to 29.60
inches as it drops from the upper midwest early this morning to the
northern Ohio Valley by this evening. This low will deepen to 29.20
inches as it lifts through the eastern Great Lakes on Tuesday. High
pressure will then build into the region Tuesday night and Wednesday
as the next clipper low bypasses the region to the south.

EVENING...

.TODAY...Northeast winds 5 to 10 knots becoming south 10 to
15 knots in the late morning and afternoon. Snow in the late
morning and afternoon. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.TONIGHT...South winds 10 to 15 knots becoming northwest 20 to
25 knots with gusts to 35 knot gales after midnight...then
increasing to 30 knots with gusts to 35 knot gales early in the
morning. Snow until early morning...then a chance of snow early
in the morning. Waves 2 to 4 feet building to 6 to 9 feet after
midnight. Waves occasionally around 12 feet.
.TUESDAY...North winds to 30 knots decreasing to 20 to 25 knots
in the late morning and afternoon. Gusts to 35 knot gales.
Freezing spray. A chance of snow showers. Waves 6 to 9 feet.
Waves occasionally around 12 feet.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...North winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts to
30 knots decreasing to 10 to 15 knots after midnight. Freezing
spray early in the evening. A chance of snow showers. Waves 4 to
