.SYNOPSIS FOR THE COASTAL WATERS FROM SANDY HOOK NJ TO FENWICK
ISLAND DE AND FOR DELAWARE BAY...

High pressure will remain across the region through tonight before
starting to shift to the north on Monday. A cold front will cross
the region on Tuesday. High pressure will return on Wednesday and
persist through the end of the week. A developing coastal storm may
impact the Mid Atlantic over the weekend.

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
Lower Delaware Bay...
Coastal and outer waters from Sandy Hook NJ to Fenwick Island DE...

* Until 115 AM EDT.

* At 1208 AM EDT, a front was located along a line extending from
Manasquan Inlet to 9 nm west of Bethany Beach, moving east at 30
knots. This replaces the previous special marine warning in effect.

HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots.

SOURCE...Radar. Several reports of wind gusts around or even above
40 knots have occurred in the past hour as the gust front
has moved through.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
Sea Girt Reef, Atlantic City, Five Fathoms Buoy, Buoy 2fb, Brown
Shoal Light, Buoy 4fb, Ship Bottom, Buoy 3fb, Cape Henlopen,
Deepwater Reef, Garden State South Reef, Axel Carlson Reef, Harvey
Cedars, Great Egg Reef, Ocean City Reef, Indian River Inlet Bridge,
Lavallette, Overfalls Shoal, The Lump and Barnegat Light.
