Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 30.1 inch ridge is currently over James Bay, leaving
Lake Superior at 30.0 inches. A 30.2 inch ridge pushes into
Northwestern Ontario on Friday morning while a 29.9 inch low will
pass through lower Michigan on Friday morning as well before
moving into New England late Friday into Saturday morning. The
30.2 inch ridge will slowly move Eastward over James Bay
throughout Friday into Saturday as our next trough of 29.9 inches
moves across Lake Superior on Sunday afternoon.
