.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
Winds will continue to diminish overnight tonight as high pressure
settles over the area. West and southwest winds should develop
Wednesday in advance of a second front that is expected to arrive
late Thursday. Onshore winds resume by early Saturday and rapidly
increase as pressures fall across the Plains. Seas will build and
a warmer airmass will overspread the cool nearshore shelf waters.
Sea fog may become an issue until another front pushes offshore
sometime on Sunday.
