.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
A summer-like pattern will establish with generally light to
moderate onshore winds, but turning more southwesterly late at night
into the early morning hours. Subtropical Storm Alberto will
gradually strengthen as it moves from near the Yucatan into the
east-central Gulf. Swells will propagate into the western Gulf and
sea heights will increase for Monday. Mariners are urged to keep
up with the forecasts this weekend and monitor updates from the
National Hurricane Center.
