.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...
A moderate to strong north to northeasterly flow will continue
across the Middle Texas Coastal Waters through early Tuesday
evening and maintain elevated seas. Only a moderate northeast
flow is expected across area bays and waterways. Scattered to
numerous showers will be possible tonight into Wednesday. Winds
will begin to diminish by Wednesday as a low pressure system
begins to shift northeastward across the area. This will also lead
to a variable wind direction. As the low pressure exits the area
Wednesday night, high pressure will build across the area resulting
in a moderate to strong offshore flow and building seas through
Thursday morning. Drier air will filter across the area and end
the showers and thunderstorms from west to east. The offshore flow
is expected to decrease by Thursday afternoon with a weak
offshore flow and dry conditions expected through the weekend.
