...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY MORNING THROUGH
FRIDAY AFTERNOON...

The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a Fire
Weather Watch...which is in effect from Friday morning through
Friday afternoon.

* AREA AND TIMING...East Central Plains this afternoon into the
early evening. East Central Plains late Friday morning through
Friday afternoon.

* 20 FOOT WINDS...West 25 to 45 mph with gusts of 50 to 60 mph
today. Northwest 20 to 35 mph with gusts to 45 mph Friday.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Minimum values of 7 to 11 percent today then
9 to 13 percent on Friday.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly
and will be hard to control. Long range spotting and extreme
fire behavior will be possible. Outdoor burning should not be
done.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Please advise the appropriate officials or fire crews in the
