STRONG WINDS WILL OCCUR IN THE WAKE OF A COLD FRONT TODAY. IN
ADDITION...AREAS ALONG THE TENNESSEE BORDER ARE FORECAST TO SEE AN
INCH OR TWO OF SNOW BY MIDDAY. THE COMBINATION OF LIGHT SNOW
ACCUMULATIONS AND GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS WILL CREATE DIFFICULT
DRIVING CONDITIONS...ESPECIALLY ACROSS HIGH ELEVATION AREAS. MOST
OF THE SNOW WILL FALL THIS MORNING...THOUGH VERY LIGHT SNOW MAY
CONTINUE INTO THE AFTERNOON. THE GUSTY WINDS WILL TAPER OFF
GRADUALLY THIS EVENING.

* TIMING...GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE
DAYLIGHT HOURS. WINDS WILL GRADUALLY WEAKEN FROM LATE AFTERNOON
THROUGH FRIDAY EVENING.

* WINDS...NORTHWEST 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 55 MPH.

* IMPACTS...THE VERY WINDY CONDITIONS WILL MAKE DRIVING
DIFFICULT...ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES AND IN
MOUNTAIN PASSES. A FEW TREES OR LIMBS COULD BE DOWNED BY THE
WINDS... CAUSING ISOLATED POWER OUTAGES.
