THE WHITE RIVER AT AUGUSTA.
* UNTIL LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT...OR UNTIL THE WARNING IS CANCELLED.
* AT 8:00 PM MONDAY THE STAGE WAS 26.5 FEET.
* MINOR FLOODING IS OCCURRING AND MINOR FLOODING IS FORECAST.
* FLOOD STAGE IS 26.0 FEET.
* FORECAST...THE RIVER WILL CONTINUE TO FALL TO BELOW FLOOD STAGE BY
TUESDAY EVENING. HOWEVER...HEAVY RAINFALL IS FORECASTED ON THE
UPPER WHITE RIVER TONIGHT WHICH COULD BRING THE RIVER BACK OUT OF
ITS BANKS OR SLOW THE RECESSION. PLEASE MONITOR LATEST FORECASTS
FOR ANY UPDATES.
