* PERIODS OF INTENSE RAIN WITH RAINFALL RATES AS HIGH AS 1 TO 1.5
INCHES PER HOUR COULD GENERATE FLASH FLOODING AND OR MUD AND
DEBRIS FLOWS...ESPECIALLY IN AND AROUND RECENT BURN SCARS.

* LANDSLIDES AND ROCKSLIDES ARE VERY COMMON DURING INTENSE RAIN
EVENTS AND COULD LEAD TO ROAD CLOSURES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

FLASH FLOODING AND DEBRIS FLOWS WILL BE A PARTICULAR THREAT IN
AND BELOW THE RECENTLY BURNED AREAS.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.
