DURING THE MID-MORNING HOURS FRIDAY THROUGH EARLY FRIDAY
EVENING...WITH POSSIBLE RAINFALL RATES AT OR EXCEEDING 1 INCH
PER HOUR. THIS WILL INCREASE THE CHANCES FOR FLASH FLOODING.
ALSO...HEAVY RAINS OVER RECENT BURN SCARS COULD RESULT IN DEBRIS
FLOWS AND MUDSLIDES.

SETS TO 16 FEET. SURF SUBSIDING SUNDAY TO 4 TO 8 FT...THEN
INCREASING AGAIN MONDAY TO 8 TO 12 FT. SURF WILL SLOWLY DIMINISH
TUESDAY.

* TIDES...HIGHEST TIDE WILL BE 4.6 FT AT 435 AM SATURDAY.

* IMPACTS...COASTAL FLOODING AND BEACH EROSION. DAMAGE TO COASTAL
STRUCTURES SUCH AS PIERS. STRONG RIP CURRENTS AND DANGEROUS
SWIMMING CONDITIONS. LARGE WAVES CAN WASH PEOPLE OFF JETTIES
AND ROCKS.

VALLEYS...THE INLAND EMPIRE...AND THE SANTA ANA MOUNTAINS AND

* IMPACTS...STRONG WINDS COULD TOPPLE TREES AND POWER LINES AND
MAKE FOR HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS FOR HIGH PROFILE
VEHICLES. TREE LIMBS AND OTHER DEBRIS MAY FALL ONTO ROADWAYS.
STRUCTURAL DAMAGE POSSIBLE.

* OUTLOOK...WINDS WILL WEAKEN LATE FRIDAY NIGHT BUT STILL BE
BLUSTERY...ESPECIALLY AT THE IMMEDIATE COAST. WINDS MAY BECOME
STRONG AGAIN LATE SUNDAY AND MONDAY.

A HIGH WIND WARNING MEANS A HAZARDOUS HIGH WIND EVENT IS EXPECTED
OR OCCURRING. SUSTAINED WIND SPEEDS OF AT LEAST 40 MPH OR GUSTS
OF 58 MPH OR MORE CAN LEAD TO PROPERTY DAMAGE.
