* FLASH FLOOD WATCH TO INCLUDE PORTIONS OF LOUISIANA AND EAST
TEXAS...INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREAS...IN LOUISIANA...
BIENVILLE...CALDWELL...DE SOTO...GRANT...JACKSON...LA SALLE...
LINCOLN...NATCHITOCHES...OUACHITA...RED RIVER...SABINE...UNION
AND WINN. IN EAST TEXAS...ANGELINA...NACOGDOCHES...SABINE...
SAN AUGUSTINE AND SHELBY.

* THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING

* THUNDERSTORMS CONTAINING HEAVY RAINFALL ARE EXPECTED TO CONTINUE
EXPANDING ACROSS THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH AREA LATE TONIGHT.
ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF TWO TO FOUR INCHES...WITH
ISOLATED HIGHER AMOUNTS IN EXCESS OF SIX INCHES...ARE EXPECTED
ACROSS THE WATCH AREA THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING. GIVEN THAT GROUNDS
REMAIN SATURATED FROM RAINS EARLIER IN THE MONTH...THIS
ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINFALL HAS THE POTENTIAL TO ENHANCE RUNOFF
AND RESULT IN FLASH FLOODING.

* IN ADDITION TO THE FLASH FLOODING THREAT...THIS HEAVY RAINFALL
WILL CAUSE SIGNIFICANT RISES ON AREA RIVERS AND LAKES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION
SHOULD FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS BE ISSUED.

* Impact...at 12.0 feet...Minor lowland flooding occurs.

* At 715 AM Friday The stage was 11.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 10 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to a stage of 10.9 feet
by Saturday morning. Also the Angelina River crested near 11 feet
during Thursday.
* Impact...at 11.0 feet...Minor lowland flooding.
