...LATE SEASON SNOW EXPECTED TO CONTINUE AT TIMES IN THE CENTRAL
OREGON CASCADES AND IN THE BLUE MOUNTAINS THIS MORNING...

AN UNSEASONABLY COLD LATE SEASON WEATHER SYSTEM WILL CONTINUE TO
PRODUCE SNOW AT TIMES IN THE CENTRAL OREGON CASCADES...THE OREGON
CASCADE EAST SLOPES...THE NORTHERN BLUE MOUNTAINS AND WALLOWA
COUNTY THIS MORNING.

THE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL TRACK ACROSS NORTHEAST OREGON AND
SOUTHEAST WASHINGTON TODAY BRINGING PERIODS OF SNOW IN THE HIGHER
ELEVATIONS OF CENTRAL OREGON AND OVER THE CASCADE EAST SLOPES OF
OREGON. PERIODS OF SNOW CAN ALSO BE EXPECTED OVER THE NORTHERN
BLUE MOUNTAINS OF NORTHEAST OREGON AND SOUTHEAST WASHINGTON AS
WELL AS WALLOWA COUNTY THIS MORNING. SNOW LEVELS WILL START OUT
AROUND 4000 TO 4500 FEET AND WILL RISE TO 5000 TO 5500 FEET BY
THIS AFTERNOON. SNOW ACCUMULATIONS WILL RANGE FROM 1 TO 3 INCHES
IN THESE AREAS THIS MORNING ABOVE 4000 TO 4500 FEET.

USE CAUTION WHEN TRAVELING AND DOING ANY OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES IN
THE CASCADES...THE NORTHERN BLUE MOUNTAINS AND WALLOWA COUNTY
