The Flood Warning continues for
The Washita River near Chickasha.

* until further notice...or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 9:00 PM Sunday the stage was 20.3 feet.

* Minor flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 19.0 feet.

* Forecast...The Washita River will continue rising and crest near
25.0 feet mid Tuesday morning.

* Impact...At 25.0 feet...Flood levels up to a foot in depth affect
residential areas in north Chickasha. Suburban homes and businesses
east of town are inundated by greater depths. The county road west
of the Chickasha Airport is blocked by high water. Flooding of
croplands and pastures occurs in Grady County from upstream of
Chickasha to near Tabler and points downstream. Overflow depths on
agricultural fields vary...ranging up to 8 feet.

The Washita River at Anadarko.

* until further notice...or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 3:30 AM Monday the stage was 22.3 feet.

* Moderate flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 19.0 feet.

* Forecast...The Washita River will continue rising and crest near
24.1 feet mid Wednesday morning.

* Impact...At 24.0 feet...Campgrounds in the Anadarko City Park and
nearby low areas are flooded. Floodwaters damage farm property and
block many rural roads along the Washita River in eastern Caddo and
western Grady counties...and could breach farm levees.

The Canadian River near Union City.

* until Tuesday morning...or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 7:00 PM Sunday the stage was 5.5 feet.

* Moderate flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 7.0 feet.

* Forecast...The Canadian River will rise above flood stage mid
Monday morning and crest near 8.3 feet early Monday afternoon. The
Canadian River will fall below flood stage early Tuesday morning.

* Impact...At 8.0 feet...Overflows of 1 foot or more occur near the
river on the Canadian-Grady County border from near Union City...
and Minco to the vicinity north of of Tuttle. Sandpits...
agricultural lands...and low-lying local roads are the areas most
affected along the Canadian River. No towns are threatened.
