A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR LIGHT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...WHICH IS
IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO NOON EST THURSDAY. IN
ADDITION...A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT THIS
MORNING FOR ELEVATIONS ABOVE 3500 FEET.

* LOCATIONS...HIGH ELEVATIONS OF THE CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA
MOUNTAINS...INCLUDING THE SMOKIES AND BALSAMS

* HAZARDS...ACCUMULATING SNOWFALL.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE HIGH ELEVATIONS OF THE
CENTRAL MOUNTAINS THIS MORNING BEFORE TAPERING OFF BY NOON. SNOW
SHOWERS WILL THEN REDEVELOP LATE TONIGHT AND CONTINUE INTO
THURSDAY MORNING.

* ACCUMULATIONS...SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 1 TO 4 INCHES THIS MORNING
ABOVE 3500 FEET. AN ADDITIONAL 1 TO 3 INCHES IS POSSIBLE TONIGHT
INTO THURSDAY MORNING...MAINLY IN THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS.

* WINDS...WEST 10 TO 15 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 25 MPH.

* IMPACTS...SNOW ACCUMULATING ON HIGH ELEVATION ROADS COULD
RESULT IN HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS.

* TEMPERATURES...IN THE MID 30S.
