TUESDAY ACTING ON AN ABUNDANCE OF MOISTURE TO PRODUCE SEVERAL
ROUNDS OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS DURING THE PERIOD. HEAVY
RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 3 INCHES HAD ALREADY OCCURRED OVER MANY
AREAS TODAY...AND ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 3 INCHES
CAN BE EXPECTED THROUGH TUESDAY WITH ISOLATED AMOUNTS UP TO 6
INCHES POSSIBLE.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD

* until further notice.
* At 9:00 PM Monday the stage was 48.7 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 48.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 49.5 feet by
Sunday morning, May 03.
* Impact...At 48.0 feet...Carthage Point Road becomes impassable.
* Impact...At 47.0 feet...Water begins to enter the former Belwood
Golf Course and Carthage Point Road area south of Natchez.
