...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TO 9 PM MDT
SUNDAY...

* IMPACTS: Low Humidities...Hot Temperatures...Gusty Winds...and a
risk for Isolated Dry Thunderstorms with gusty and erratic
outflow winds will create erratic fire behavior and an increased
risk for new fire starts.

* AFFECTED AREA:
In North Central Montana, Fire Weather Zones 112, 113, 114, 115
and 117.

* COUNTIES AFFECTED:
In Central Montana, Cascade, Fergus, Judith Basin
Lewis and Clark, Meagher.
In North Central Montana, Blaine, Chouteau, Glacier, Hill
Liberty, Pondera, Teton, Toole.
In South Central Montana, Golden Valley, Park, Phillips
Sweet Grass, Wheatland.

* WIND: Southwest 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

* HUMIDITY: As low as 10 to 15 percent.

* TEMPERATURES: In the upper 80 to mid 90s.

* THUNDERSTORMS: Isolated dry thunderstorms are possible late
Sunday afternoon through Sunday evening, mainly across fire
weather zones 113 and 115.

* WIND SHIFT: A shift from southerly winds to northerly winds will
occur Sunday evening through early Monday morning. This wind
shift will be accompanied by gusty winds, but higher relative
humidity.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are
either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of strong
winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can contribute
to extreme fire behavior.

Please advise the appropriate officials or fire crews in these
areas of this Red Flag Warning.
