...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO
8 AM MDT THURSDAY...
* Impacts/Timing: Precipitation will transition to a rain/snow mix
overnight for locations around and below 3000 feet, with snow
expected in higher elevations, including Marias Pass and Glacier
National Park. While snow will not stick to the majority of road
surfaces...Highway 2 from Essex to Marias Pass, as well as
roadways within Glacier Park, will be most affected through
* Snow accumulations: Less than an inch below 3000 feet. 1 to 3
inches in GNP and along Highway 2 Essex to Marias Pass. Higher
accumulations in true mountainous terrain.
* Locations impacted include: Bad Rock Canyon, Essex, Highway 83
Bigfork to Swan Lake, Marias Pass, and Polebridge
