AIR MOVES ACROSS THE AREA. SNOW WILL THEN BECOME MODERATE TO
LOCALLY HEAVY AT TIMES INTO TUESDAY AFTERNOON.

* LOOK FOR STORM TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 4 TO 8 INCHES BY
LATE TUESDAY AFTERNOON...WITH THE GREATEST AMOUNTS OVER THE
HIGHER TERRAIN CLOSER TO LAKE SUPERIOR.

* NORTH WINDS GUSTING TO 40 MPH...STRONGEST NEAR LAKE SUPERIOR
THIS AFTERNOON INTO TONIGHT...WILL ALSO PRODUCE AREAS OF
BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW.

IMPACTS...

* THE SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW WILL CREATE HAZARDOUS DRIVING
CONDITIONS. THE TUESDAY MORNING COMMUTE MAY BE SLIPPERY.

TUESDAY...

* WINDS...NORTH WINDS OF 30 TO 40 MPH ARE EXPECTED OVER LAKE SUPERIOR
INTO TONIGHT. GUSTS MAY REACH 45 MPH.

* WAVES...THE STRONG WINDS WILL BUILD WAVES TO 12 TO 15 FEET INTO
TONIGHT. WAVES WILL SUBSIDE TO LESS THAN 10 FEET BY TUESDAY MORNING.

* IMPACTS...WAVES THIS HIGH ALONG WITH WATER LEVELS THAT REMAIN
ABOVE NORMAL WILL RESULT IN BEACH EROSION AND POSSIBLE
FLOODING OF PRONE LOW-LYING AREAS ALONG THE SHORELINE.
