* TEMPERATURES...FALLING TO AROUND THE FREEZING MARK IN MOST
LOCATIONS ON FRIDAY NIGHT...WITH 20S AT 2000 FEET ELEVATION
AND ABOVE. WIDESPREAD BELOW FREEZING TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED
AGAIN ON SATURDAY NIGHT...WITH LOWS BOTTOMING OUT IN THE MID
20S TO AROUND 30 RANGE.

* TIMING...TEMPERATURES WILL DROP TO AROUND OR BELOW FREEZING
AFTER MIDNIGHT FRIDAY NIGHT AND NOT RISE ABOVE FREEZING UNTIL
MID MORNING ON SATURDAY. TEMPERATURES WILL FALL BELOW FREEZING
AFTER MIDNIGHT ON SATURDAY NIGHT AND REMAIN BELOW FREEZING
UNTIL MID MORNING SUNDAY MORNING.

* IMPACTS...ROAD AND SIDEWALKS MAY DROP AT OR BELOW FREEZING
DURING THE EARLY MORNING HOURS SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. THIS COULD
CREATE SOME SLICK SPOTS AND MAKE TRAVELING POTENTIALLY
HAZARDOUS. FROST WILL DEVELOP IN MANY AREAS AND THIS FREEZE
SHOULD KILL MOST CROPS AND OTHER SENSITIVE VEGETATION...
EFFECTIVELY ENDING THE GROWING SEASON.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 8 PM FRIDAY TO
2 PM EDT SATURDAY.

* TIMING...RAIN WILL CHANGE TO SNOW BETWEEN 8 PM AND MIDNIGHT ON
FRIDAY EVENING AT 2000 FEET ELEVATION AND ABOVE. THE SNOW LEVEL
SHOULD DESCEND TO THE VALLEYS TOWARD DAWN ON SATURDAY. THE SNOW IS
EXPECTED TO CHANGE BACK TO RAIN IN THE VALLEYS ON SATURDAY
MORNING...BUT REMAIN AS MOSTLY SNOW AT ELEVATIONS OF 1500 FEET AND
ABOVE THROUGH EARLY ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON.

* ACCUMULATIONS...A DUSTING TO AN INCH IN THE VALLEYS...AND ONE
TO THREE INCHES AT ELEVATIONS FROM 1500 TO 3000 FEET. ABOVE
3000 FEET...THREE TO SIX INCHES ARE POSSIBLE.

* IMPACTS...ROADWAYS...ESPECIALLY THOSE CROSSING THE THE HIGHER
PASSES ABOVE 2000 FEET MAY BECOME SNOW COVERED...SLUSHY OR
SLICK... RESULTING IN HAZARDOUS TRAVEL. VISIBILITIES MAY BE
REDUCED AT TIMES TO ONE HALF OF A MILE OR LESS DURING PERIODS
OF HEAVIER SNOW AND ON THE RIDGETOPS. AN ISOLATED POWER OUTAGE
IS ALSO POSSIBLE...AS DOWNED TREES WILL BE POSSIBLE DUE TO THE
SNOW ACCUMULATING ON FOLIAGE STILL LEFT ON MANY TREES
