* A PORTION OF SOUTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING
AREAS...BOND IL...CLINTON IL...FAYETTE IL...MARION IL...
MONTGOMERY IL AND WASHINGTON IL.

* UNTIL 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING

* A FINAL ROUND OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE ACROSS THE
AREA THROUGH THE REMAINDER OF THE AFTERNOON AND INTO THE EARLY
EVENING. LOCALLIZED RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 3 INCHES ARE
POSSIBLE.

* HEAVY RAINFALL MAY RESULT IN FLOODING OF LOW LYING OR POOR
DRAINAGE AREAS...AND POSSIBLY DANGEROUS FLASH FLOODING ON
SMALLER CREEKS AND STREAMS. SIGNIFICANT RISES ON LARGER
STREAMS AND RIVERS WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE.

* AT 230 PM CDT...TRAINED WEATHER SPOTTERS REPORTED THUNDERSTORMS
WITH HEAVY RAINFALL ACROSS THE ADVISORY AREA. DOPPLER RADAR
ESTIMATED BETWEEN ONE AND THREE INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN WITH A
SLOW-MOVING THUNDERSTORM. THIS IS IN ADDITION TO THE RAIN WHICH
FELL LAST NIGHT.

* RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE MINOR FLOODING TO
OCCUR...ESPECIALLY ALONG SMALL STREAMS AND NEAR LOW WATER
CROSSINGS. SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE MINOR FLOODING
INCLUDE...MASCOUTAH...NEW BADEN...RED BUD...SPARTA...ALBERS...
AVISTON...BALDWIN...EVANSVILLE...GERMANTOWN...LIVELY GROVE...
MARISSA...NEW ATHENS...NEW MEMPHIS...OKAWVILLE...TILDEN AND
TRENTON.

AN URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY MEANS RIVER OR STREAM FLOWS
ARE ELEVATED OR PONDING OF WATER IN URBAN OR OTHER AREAS IS OCCURRING
OR IS IMMINENT.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE MINOR FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...URBAN AREAS...HIGHWAYS...STREETS AND UNDERPASSES
AS WELL AS OTHER DRAINAGE AREAS AND LOW LYING SPOTS.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE MINOR FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...COUNTRY ROADS...AS WELL AS FARMLAND ALONG THE
BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS.
