...SNOW AND WIND TO CREATE DIFFICULT TRAVEL MONDAY...
A storm system will sweep across Southeast Idaho tonight into
Monday bringing snow showers and breezy conditions. The
combination of snow and wind will produce areas of snow covered
and icy roads along with areas of blowing and drifting snow with
reduced visibility. This may lead to difficult travel for the
Monday morning commute. Motorists planning to travel late tonight
and Monday should be prepared for difficult winter driving
conditions and allow extra time to reach your destination. Snow
accumulation of 1 to 3 inches is possible in valleys and the
Southern Highlands with 4 to 8 inches possible above 6000 feet
elevation across the Eastern Highlands.
