HEAT WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM MST /10 AM PDT/
FRIDAY TO 8 PM MST /8 PM PDT/ SUNDAY. THE EXCESSIVE HEAT WATCH ISSUED
EARLIER WAS UPGRADED TO A WARNING.

* AFFECTED AREA...THE LOWER DESERTS OF SOUTHWEST AND SOUTH-CENTRAL
ARIZONA...AND SOUTHEAST CALIFORNIA.

* TEMPERATURE...HIGHS 109 TO 115 DEGREES ON THE LOWER DESERTS FRIDAY
THROUGH SUNDAY.

* IMPACTS...HEAT RELATED ILLNESS WILL BE LIKELY FOR THOSE DOING
STRENUOUS ACTIVITY OUTDOORS...OR THOSE WITH HEALTH CONDITIONS
THAT DO NOT HAVE ADEQUATE ACCESS TO AIR CONDITIONING. IF
UNTREATED...SOME ILLNESS EVENTS COULD BE FATAL.
