Advisory, which is in effect from noon Saturday to 9 PM PDT
Sunday.

* TEMPERATURES...105 to 110 degrees Friday. 100 to 107 degrees
Saturday and Sunday.

* TIMING...Through Sunday evening.

* IMPACTS...Prolonged exposure to these temperatures will
increase the risk of heat related illnesses such as heat

heat related illness. Pets, crops, and livestock may also
require extra care through the hot weather.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take extra precautions, if you work or spend time outside.
Shelter yourself from the hot sun if possible and schedule
strenuous physical work outside to the early morning or evening
hours. Wear light colored, loose fitting clothing if possible.
Remain hydrated and drink plenty of water. Know the signs and
symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.

An Excessive Heat Warning means that a prolonged period of
dangerously hot temperatures will occur. Prolonged exposure to
extreme heat can lead to heat exhaustion or heat stroke.

Young children and pets should never be left unattended in
vehicles under any circumstances. Look before you lock! The
temperature inside of a car on a hot day can climb to lethal
levels in a matter of minutes.

A Heat Advisory means that a period of hot temperatures is
expected. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned
room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and
neighbors.
