THE FIRE WEATHER WATCH.

* WINDS...AREAS OF NORTHEAST WINDS 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO
40 MPH THIS MORNING AND BECOMING 10 TO 15 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 25
MPH THIS AFTERNOON. NORTHEAST WINDS 10 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS TO
30 MPH ARE LIKELY TONIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY. WINDS STRONGEST FROM
SANTA PAULA THROUGH VAN NUYS...INCLUDING SANTA CLARITA.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...DAILY MINIMUM HUMIDITIES BETWEEN 4 AND 12
PERCENT ARE EXPECTED THURSDAY THROUGH AT LEAST FRIDAY...WITH
POOR OVERNIGHT RECOVERIES BETWEEN 15 AND 30 PERCENT. DRIEST ON
FRIDAY.

* TEMPERATURES...DAILY MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES IN THE 90S ON TODAY...RISING
TO 95 TO 105 ON FRIDAY.

* IMPACTS...WITH EXTREMELY DRY FUELS IN PLACE...IF FIRE IGNITION
OCCURS THERE COULD BE RAPID SPREAD OF WILDFIRE THAT WOULD LEAD
TO A THREAT TO LIFE AND PROPERTY.
