The National Weather Service in Little Rock has issued a

* Flood Warning for
The Arkansas River At Little Rock.
* from Thursday evening to Saturday evening...or until the warning is
cancelled.
* At 3:00 AM Tuesday the stage was 14.7 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by Thursday before midnight and
continue to rise to near 23.2 feet by Friday morning.
* Impacts at 23.0 feet... Rebsamen Park Golf Course, Murray Park, and
Riverfront Park partially flooded. Marine terminal and commercial
facilities downstream of the Interstate 30 Bridge are affected.

The Arkansas River At Little Rock.
* from late Thursday night to late Saturday night...Or until the
warning is cancelled.
* At 1:00 AM Wednesday the stage was 17.1 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by Friday morning and
continue to rise to near 23.2 feet Friday. The river will
fall below flood stage by Friday evening.
* Impacts at 18.0 feet...Farmlands downstream of Little Rock are
affected. The Bill Clark Presidential Park Wetlands are inundated.
Portions of Burns Park, Cooks Landing, and the Arkansas River Trail
on the North Little Rock side are inundated.
* Impacts at 21.0 feet...North Little Rock must close sewer system
flood gates to prevent backwater flooding up sewers.
* Impacts at 23.0 feet...Bankfull stage. Rebsamen Park Golf Course,
Murray Park, and Riverfront Park are partially flooded. Marine terminal
and commercial facilities downstream of the Interstate 30 Bridge are
affected.

* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by Friday morning and continue to
rise to near 23.2 feet by Friday afternoon. Flows are over
270,000 CFS and expected to remain high through the remainder of the week.
Additional rainfall is in the forecast for this weekend. Please monitor
latest forecasts for any updates.
* Impacts at 18.0 feet...Farmlands downstream of Little Rock are
affected. The Bill Clark Presidential Park Wetlands are inundated.
