ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM CST THIS MORNING.

* EVENT...AREAS OF FOG CONTINUE OVER MUCH OF THE AREA. THE FOG IS
EXPECTED TO REDUCE VISIBILITIES TO NEAR OR LESS THAN ONE QUARTER
OF A MILE AS WARMER AIR SHIFTS NORTH ACROSS A MUCH COLDER
GROUND SURFACE.

* IMPACT...REDUCED VISIBILITIES WILL MAKE DRIVING HAZARDOUS
THROUGH MID MORNING TUESDAY...ESPECIALLY WHERE ROADS ARE WET.

A DENSE FOG ADVISORY MEANS VISIBILITIES WILL FREQUENTLY BE

NORTHEAST TEXAS...AND THE NORTHERN SECTIONS OF SOUTHWEST ARKANSAS
AROUND DAYBREAK WEDNESDAY...WITH MUCH COLDER AIR SPILLING SOUTH
INTO EAST TEXAS AND NORTH LOUISIANA DURING THE DAY. SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP NEAR AND JUST BEHIND THE COLD
FRONT...WITH A WINTRY MIX OF FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET EXPECTED TO
DEVELOP FARTHER NORTH BEHIND THE FRONT DURING THE AFTERNOON OVER
SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA AND CENTRAL ARKANSAS AS TEMPERATURES QUICKLY
FALL TO OR BELOW FREEZING. THE RAIN IS EXPECTED TO CHANGE OVER TO A
MIX OF FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET WEDNESDAY EVENING OVER EXTREME
NORTHEAST TEXAS AND SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA...AS WELL AS SOUTHWEST

INTERSTATE 20 CORRIDOR OF NORTH LOUISIANA.

AT THIS TIME...ICE ACCUMULATIONS OF A TENTH TO A QUARTER OF AN
INCH WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS MCCURTAIN COUNTY OKLAHOMA...PORTIONS
OF EXTREME NORTHEAST TEXAS...SOUTHWEST ARKANSAS AND NORTHCENTRAL
LOUISIANA THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING. ISOLATED HIGHER ICE
ACCUMULATIONS GREATER THAN ONE QUARTER OF AN INCH WILL BE POSSIBLE
ACROSS PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST ARKANSAS. THE PRECIPITATION MAY
CHANGE OVER TO SNOW BEFORE ENDING ACROSS SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA AND

LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT.

* EVENT...TEMPERATURES TO FALL RAPIDLY AS AN ARCTIC AIRMASS MOVES
ACROSS THE REGION ON WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON. LINGERING
PRECIPITATION WITHIN THE COLD AIRMASS WILL QUICKLY TRANSITION TO
FREEZING RAIN AND EVENTUALLY TO SLEET AND SNOW CAUSING HAZARDOUS
DRIVING CONDITIONS.

* TIMING...WINTER PRECIPITATION IN THE FORM OF FREEZING RAIN IS
EXPECTED DURING THE LATE AFTERNOON HOURS FOLLOWED BY A
