RECEIVED 5.52 INCHES OF RAIN WHILE BROKEN BOW LAKE HAS RECEIVED 4.36
INCHES OF RAINFALL.

* FROM 10 AM CDT THIS MORNING THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING

* SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS CONTAINING HEAVY RAINFALL ARE EXPECTED
TO BECOME MORE NUMEROUS AS WE GO THROUGH TODAY ACROSS THE FLASH
FLOOD WATCH AREA. WIDESPREAD RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF THREE TO FIVE
INCHES...WITH ISOLATED HIGHER AMOUNTS IN EXCESS OF SIX
INCHES...ARE EXPECTED ACROSS THE WATCH AREA THROUGH SATURDAY
MORNING. GIVEN THAT GROUNDS REMAIN SATURATED IN WAKE OF
WIDESPREAD HEAVY RAINFALL THAT FELL DURING MARCH AND APRIL...
THIS ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINFALL COULD ENHANCE RUNOFF AND RESULT
IN FLASH FLOODING.

* IN ADDITION TO THE FLASH FLOODING THREAT...THIS HEAVY RAINFALL
WILL CAUSE SIGNIFICANT RISES ON AREA RIVERS AND LAKES.

* At 900 AM Friday The stage was 23.1 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 24 feet.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by Saturday early afternoon and
continue to rise to near 24.1 feet by Saturday evening. The river
will fall below flood stage by Tuesday evening.
* Impact...at 24.0 feet...Minor lowland flooding and bank erosion.
Move livestock next to the river to higher ground.
