* THERE WILL SMALLER RAIN CHANCES ACROSS THE REGION FOR MEMORIAL
DAY...BEFORE ANOTHER ROUND OF HEAVY RAINFALL MOVES INTO THE
STATE MONDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY. THE SECOND ROUND OF RAINFALL IS
EXPECTED TO BRING WIDESPREAD 1 TO 3 INCH RAINFALL AMOUNTS...WITH
LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS. THE MAJORITY OF THE RAINFALL WILL FALL IN A
VERY SHORT TIME FRAME...WITH RUN OFF LIKELY.

* THE SOIL ACROSS MUCH OF ARKANSAS REMAINS SATURATED FROM THE
HEAVY RAINFALL THAT OCCURRED DURING THE MONTH OF MAY. MANY
RIVERS AND STREAMS ARE STILL AT UNSEASONABLY HIGH LEVELS...
WITH ANY ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINFALL ONLY INCREASING THE
POTENTIAL FOR FLASH FLOODING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION

The Flood Warning continues for
The Ouachita River At Camden.
* until further notice...Or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 8:30 PM Sunday the stage was 30.4 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 39.0 feet by
early Sunday morning.
* Impacts at 38.0 feet...Many homes along the river and Oxbow Lakes
are accessable by boat only. Portions of Harmony Grove and the lakeside
community are flooding.
* Impact...at 40.0 feet...Major flooding begins at this level.
Widespread residential flooding is possible in the Camden vicinity
and downstream. Much of the low lying areas along the river in
Ouachita and Calhoun counties will be flooded. Access to many homes
will be by boat.

The Flood Warning continues for
The Ouachita River At Thatcher L&D.
* until further notice...Or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 7:00 AM Sunday the stage was 85.6 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 79.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 90.0 feet by
Thursday morning.
* Impact...at 90.0 feet...Access to Thatcher Lock and Dam may be
affected. Many oil and gas rigs in the river bottoms can be reached
by boat only. Runoff into Calion Lake cannot drain to the river.
Levee gates should be closed. Downstream, minor impacts to the Moro
Bay State Park, some shallow water may be over the road to the
campground.
