The flood warning continues for
the Sabine River Near Mineola.
* from Sunday afternoon until further notice...or until the warning
is cancelled.
* At 8:15 AM Saturday The stage was 3.2 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by tomorrow afternoon and
continue to rise to near 16.7 feet by early Tuesday morning.
* Impact...at 16.0 feet...Expect flooding of low river bottoms with
secondary roadways along with picnic and recreational areas
becoming inundated as well. Ranchers should move cattle and
equipment to higher ground.

the Lake Fork Creek Near Quitman.
* from Sunday evening to late Wednesday night...or until the warning
is cancelled.
* At 8:15 AM Saturday The stage was 2.8 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by tomorrow evening and continue
to rise to near 17.2 feet BY Monday morning. The river will fall
below flood stage by late Wednesday morning.
* Impact...at 16.0 feet...Expect minor lowland flooding problems.
Ranchers that may have cattle and equipment in the creek bottoms
should move them to higher ground.

...LAKE WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM CDT SUNDAY...

* EVENT...A very tight pressure gradient across the Southern
Plains will remain over the region, with strong southerly winds
of 15-25 mph with gusts to 35-40 mph continuing over all of
East Texas, extreme Southern Arkansas, and North Louisiana today
and tonight.

* TIMING...through 7 AM CDT Sunday.

* IMPACT...Boaters should exercise caution on area lakes due to
rough chop conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Lake Wind Advisory indicates that winds will cause rough chop
on area lakes. Small boats will be especially prone to capsizing.
