...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM PDT THIS
EVENING...

* TIMING...Through early this evening.

* SNOW LEVEL...The snow level will hover around pass elevation
today, in the 4500 to 5000 foot range.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...Expect from 5 to 12 inches of accumulation
through this evening. The heaviest amounts are expected above
5000 to 5500 feet such as at ski resort elevations. Pass
elevations could see anywhere from less than an inch to as much
as 4 or 5 inches.

* IMPACTS...Roads, especially at higher elevations, will become
snow covered and cause travel disruptions. Roads across the
passes will take a while to cool and allow the snow to stick,
but may become snow covered at times as well through late
Monday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while
driving.
