THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TAUNTON HAS ISSUED A COASTAL
FLOOD ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM EST WEDNESDAY.

* LOCATION...THE EASTERN MASSACHUSETTS COAST SOUTH OF BOSTON
INCLUDING NORTH AND NORTHEAST FACING SHORELINES OF CAPE COD AND
NANTUCKET.

* COASTAL FLOODING...POCKETS OF MINOR COASTAL FLOODING AS A RESULT
OF TRAPPED WATER FROM PRIOR HIGH TIDES AND SPLASHOVER DURING THE
EARLY MORNING WEDNESDAY HIGH TIDE.

* TIMING...THROUGH THE WEDNESDAY EARLY MORNING HIGH TIDE.

* IMPACTS...FLOODING OF A FEW SHORE ROADS WILL PERSIST OVERNIGHT
DUE TO TRAPPED WATER FROM PRIOR STORM TIDES. SPOTTY MINOR
COASTAL FLOODING IS ALSO LIKELY FROM RESIDUAL SWELL AND SURGE
DURING THE EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING HIGH TIDE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

DO ATTEMPT TO DRIVE THROUGH ANY FLOODED ROADWAYS. THE UNSEEN ROAD
SURFACE COULD BE COMPROMISED BY A WASH OUT.

OF LIGHT TO OCCASIONALLY MODERATE SNOW FROM CAPE ANN SOUTHEASTWARD
OVER MASSACHUSETTS BAY. THE BAND OF SNOW WAS MOVING TO THE SOUTH AND
SOUTHWEST AND WILL OVERSPREAD THE REGION FROM BOSTON SOUTHWARD TO
PLYMOUTH AND CAPE COD AND AS FAR WEST AS THE STOUGHTON AND BROCKTON
AREAS.

APPROXIMATELY 1 TO 3 ADDITIONAL INCHES MAY OCCUR WITH THIS
BAND OF SNOW BETWEEN NOW AND 230 AM.
