...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO
6 AM MDT WEDNESDAY...
The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow, which is in effect from 6 PM this
evening to 6 AM MDT Wednesday.
* TIMING...Snowfall will develop today and continue tonight, and
then diminish Wednesday morning.
* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...4 to 9 inches, with the heavier snow
amounts on east facing slopes.
* WIND/VISIBILITY...Periods of heavy snowfall and north winds to
25 mph will reduce visibilities to less than a half mile at
* IMPACTS...Roads will become slushy or snowpacked during the
period of heaviest snow tonight.
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities...and use caution while
