SUNDAY EVENING...

The National Weather Service in Sacramento has issued an
Excessive Heat Watch, which is in effect from Friday afternoon
through Sunday evening.

* TEMPERATURE...100 to 108 degrees.

* IMPACTS...Heat-related illnesses (including heat exhaustion and
heat stroke) are possible to humans, pets, and livestock with
long outdoor exposure.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

An Excessive Heat Watch means that a prolonged period of hot
temperatures is expected and will create a DANGEROUS SITUATION in
which heat illnesses are possible. Drink plenty of fluids, stay
in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on
relatives and neighbors.

Sunday morning.

* WIND...North winds 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

* HUMIDITY...Afternoon minimum humidities falling between 10 and 20
percent.

* IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning is not recommended.

potential for fire starts and rapid spread.
