The Flash Flood Watch continues for
* Portions of southeast Ohio and north central West Virginia,
including the following areas, in southeast Ohio, Washington. In
West Virginia, Barbour, Braxton, Calhoun, Clay, Doddridge,
Gilmer, Harrison, Jackson WV, Lewis, Northwest Nicholas,
Northwest Randolph, Northwest Webster, Pleasants, Ritchie,
Roane, Southeast Nicholas, Southeast Randolph, Southeast
Webster, Taylor, Tyler, Upshur, Wirt, and Wood.
* Until 7 PM EST this evening
* Excessive Rainfall
* Rain Tuesday saturated already wet grounds over much of the
watch area. Additional rounds of showers and thunderstorms are
expected at times through this afternoon. Where showers and
storms persist, flash flooding will be possible.
A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.
You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
