...HIGH WIND WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT THROUGH
* TIMING...Winds will increase Saturday night and may become quite
strong before sunrise Sunday decreasing by later Sunday night.
* WINDS...West to southwest 20 to 50 mph...highest over the
mountains and near Clark Wyoming...with gusts to 60 mph.
Occasional gusts to 65 to 75 mph are possible across the Chief
Joseph Highway, Highway 120 and around Clark Wyoming.
* IMPACTS...Strong crosswinds will pose a risk to high profile
A High Wind Watch means there is the potential for a hazardous
high wind event. Sustained winds of at least 40 mph...or gusts of

...Periods of light to moderate snow today and tonight over the
Light snow will be possible today across the northwest, with only
minor accumulations expected. Scattered to numerous snow showers
will develop this evening and continue through the overnight hours
tonight. 2 to 4 inches of snow are expected above 8500 feet with
locally higher amounts of 6 to 8 inches, especially in the Tetons.
1 to 2 inches will fall in the lower elevations tonight.
