ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 6 AM
CST THURSDAY.

* EVENT...HIGH PRESSURE BUILDING BEHIND A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL
BRING NORTH WINDS UP TO 20 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS LATE THIS
AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

* TIMING...WINDS WILL INCREASE TO AROUND 20 MPH ALONG THE
INTERSTATE 30 CORRIDOR AND SPREAD SOUTHWARD LATE THIS AFTERNOON
AND INTO THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. WINDS TO DIMINISH AROUND SUNRISE
THURSDAY MORNING ACROSS DEEP EAST TEXAS AND WEST CENTRAL LOUISIANA.

* IMPACT...BOATERS SHOULD EXERCISE CAUTION DUE TO ROUGH CHOP ON

* TIMING...WINTRY PRECIPITATION IN THE FORM OF FREEZING RAIN IS
EXPECTED PERHAPS BY LATE THIS EVENING AND ESPECIALLY OVERNIGHT
AND EARLY ON THURSDAY WITH A TRANSITION TO MIXED SLEET AND SNOW
BY DAYBREAK.

* IMPACT...FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET ACCUMULATIONS OF LESS THAN A
QUARTER OF AN INCH MAY MAKE DRIVING CONDITIONS HAZARDOUS...
MAINLY ON BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES ALONG AND SOUTH OF THE I-20
CORRIDOR.
