TOWN OF ARRINGTON IN WILLIAMSON COUNTY. RAINFALL TOTALS OF 1 TO 2
INCHES HAS FALLEN IN THIS AREA...AND ACROSS MUCH OF THE REGION FROM
AROUND I-40 NORTHWARD. ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF UP TO AN INCH
WILL BE POSSIBLE IN THE WARNED AREA AND COULD LEAD TO FURTHER ROADS
BECOME FLOODED...ESPECIALLY NEAR CREEKS AND RIVERS BEFORE RAIN
CHANGES TO A WINTRY MIX.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT MAY EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...METRO

* TIMING...FROM 6 PM CST WEDNESDAY THROUGH NOON CST THURSDAY.

* ACCUMULATIONS...2 TO 5 INCHES OF SNOW AND SLEET ARE EXPECTED
WITH THE HIGHEST AMOUNTS CLOSER TO THE KENTUCKY STATE LINE AND
INTERSTATE 65...AND LOWEST AROUND INTERSTATE 40. FREEZING RAIN
ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED TO BE AROUND A TENTH OF AN
INCH...WITH SOME HIGHER AMOUNTS OF ICE POSSIBLE NEAR INTERSTATE
40 AND THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU.

* MAIN IMPACT...PRECIPITATION WILL MAINLY BE RAIN IN THE MORNING
AND EARLY AFTERNOON...THEN MIX WITH FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET
DURING THE MID TO LATE AFTERNOON. SNOW SHOULD DEVELOP DURING THE
LATE AFTERNOON FOR AREAS CLOSER TO INTERSTATE 65 AND IN THE
EVENING FOR THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU. THIS MIXED PRECIPITATION
WILL CREATE MAJOR TRAVEL IMPACTS FROM WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON
THROUGH FRIDAY AFTERNOON.

* OTHER IMPACTS...TEMPERATURES ARE LIKELY TO STAY BELOW FREEZING
FROM WEDNESDAY NIGHT THROUGH MID DAY FRIDAY. THIS WILL LIKELY
KEEP MANY ROADWAYS SLICK AND HAZARDOUS FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD
OF TIME.
