SUNDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...Snow expected. This evening into Saturday afternoon,
total snow accumulations of 5 to 7 inches, with localized
amounts up to 12 inches, are expected.

* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Sunday morning through Sunday night,
total snow accumulations of 8 to 12 inches, with localized
amounts up to 20 inches, are possible in the watch area.

* WHERE: The Cascades of Southern Oregon north of Howard Prairie,
including Crater Lake, Diamond Lake, Union Creek, and Highways
140, 62, 230, and 138.

* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, from 10 PM this
evening to 4 PM PST Saturday. For the Winter Storm Watch, from
Sunday morning through late Sunday night.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery roads and difficult travel
conditions. Tree branches could fall. Be prepared for reduced
visibilities. Travel could be very difficult to impossible.

between Merlin and Canyonville, Highway 42 near Signal Tree,
highway 199 south of Selma to the California state line, the
Tiller-Trail highway, and the cities of Tiller, Shady Cove,
Eagle Point, Prospect, Butte Falls, and Glendale.
