* At 9 PM Monday the stage was 12.5 feet and rising.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to a crest near 17.0 feet around 1
PM Saturday February 24 and begin falling.
* At 17.0 feet...Residential flooding occurs in Leo, Indiana.

* At 9 PM Monday the stage was 12.6 feet and rising.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to a crest near 16.8 feet around 7
PM Friday February 23 and begin falling.
* At 16.5 feet...Major flooding will occur in and around the village
of Stryker.
* This crest compares to a previous crest of 16.9 feet which occurred
on Jun 30 2015.

* Flood Warning for
The Maumee River near Defiance
* until Saturday morning.
* At 1 AM Tuesday the stage was 9.5 feet and rising.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage this
morning and crest near 10.9 feet around 7 AM Thursday February 22
and fall below flood stage around 9 AM Friday February 23.
* At 10.0 feet...Flooding occurs in Kingsbury and Pontiac Parks.

The Flood Watch continues for

* portions of northern Indiana, southwest Michigan, and
northwest Ohio, including the following areas, in northern
Indiana, Adams, Allen IN, Blackford, Cass IN, De Kalb,
Elkhart, Fulton IN, Grant, Huntington, Jay, Kosciusko, La
Porte, Lagrange, Marshall, Miami, Noble, Pulaski, St. Joseph
IN, Starke, Steuben, Wabash, Wells, White, and Whitley. In
southwest Michigan, Berrien, Branch, Cass MI, Hillsdale, and
St. Joseph MI. In northwest Ohio, Allen OH, Defiance, Fulton
OH, Henry, Paulding, Putnam, Van Wert, and Williams.

* Through Wednesday afternoon

* Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are expected
through Wednesday morning, heaviest northwest of US 24 across
northern Indiana and southwest Lower Michigan.


A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.
