11 PM MST THIS EVENING...

* LOCATION...This includes the West Central Mountains, West
Central Plateau and west slopes of the Sangre de Cristo
Mountains.

* WINDS...Southwest 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 60 mph,
becoming west by evening.

* TIMING...Winds will strengthen late this morning, peak late
afternoon before decreasing during the evening hours.

* VISIBILITY...Locally reduced from blowing dust. Some areas of
blowing snow may reduce visibility during the evening hours.

* LOCAL IMPACTS...Drivers of vans, campers, trailers, and other
high profile vehicles should exercise extreme caution,
especially with cross winds. This includes I-40 from the
Arizona border through the Continental Divide.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remember, A High Wind Warning means damaging winds are imminent
or highly likely. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 mph or
gusts of 58 mph or more can lead to property damage.

afternoon and then gradually decrease after midnight.

* VISIBILITY...Locally reduced from blowing dust.

* LOCAL IMPACTS...Drivers of vans, campers, trailers, and other
high profile vehicles should exercise extreme caution. Sudden
cross winds are possible, including along I-25 in Guadalupe
County.

* LOCATION...Much of the lower elevations of northern and
central New Mexico, including the Albuquerque and Santa Fe
metro areas.

* WINDS...Southwest 25 to 35 mph with occasional gusts to
between 50 and 55 mph.

* TIMING...Winds strengthening this morning, peaking late
afternoon, then gradually decreasing during the evening hours.

* VISIBILITY...Locally reduced to between 3 and 5 miles in
blowing dust.

* LOCAL IMPACTS...Difficult driving conditions due to strong
crosswinds and localized blowing dust are expected, including
along Highway 550, Interstate 25 and portions of Interstate
40. Drivers of vans, campers, trailers and other high profile
vehicles should exercise caution.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should exercise caution while travelling. Sudden gusts
of wind may cause you to lose control of your vehicle. Extra
attention should be given to cross winds.

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM MST
TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow and blowing snow expected. Total snow
accumulations of 4 to 8 inches above 7000 feet, with amounts
between 10 and 16 inches above 9000 feet, are expected. Locally
higher amounts are possible.

* WHERE...Far Northwest Highlands, Northwest Highlands,
Southwest Mountains, San Juan or Tusas Mountains, and the
Jemez Mountains.

* WHEN...Until 5 AM MST Tuesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on difficult to severe travel
conditions. Tree branches could fall. Winds gusting as high as
50 mph will cause areas of blowing and drifting snow.
Visibilities may be reduced significantly, with potential for
white-out conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning for snow and blowing snow means severe
winter weather conditions will make travel very hazardous or
impossible. If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food
and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest
