A WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY AFTERNOON
THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING.

* TIMING AND MAIN IMPACT: A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL CROSS INTO
NORTH CENTRAL MONTANA LATE FRIDAY AFTERNOON. SNOW WILL DEVELOP
AND BECOME HEAVY AT TIMES BY SATURDAY MORNING BEFORE TAPERING
OFF FROM NORTH TO SOUTH SATURDAY EVENING.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS: 4 TO 8 INCHES OF SNOW ARE POSSIBLE AT
ELEVATIONS BELOW 6000 FEET. 10 TO 20 INCHES OF SNOW ARE POSSIBLE
ABOVE 6000 FEET. THE HEAVIEST RATE OF SNOWFALL SHOULD OCCUR
OVERNIGHT FRIDAY.

* WINDS AND VISIBILITY: NORTH WINDS OF 15 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 30 MPH
ARE POSSIBLE WITH FRONTAL PASSAGE.

* TEMPERATURES: TEMPERATURES FALL FRIDAY NIGHT AND SATURDAY TO
AROUND ZERO TO 15 DEGREES BELOW ZERO. WIND CHILL TEMPERATURES
COULD DROP TO 20 BELOW ZERO OR WORSE BY SATURDAY EVENING.
