HICKORY...NORTHERN DALLAS...NORTHERN DENT...NORTHERN LACLEDE...
NORTHERN POLK...PHELPS...PULASKI...SOUTHERN CAMDEN AND ST. CLAIR
COUNTIES...

AT 210 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
THAT RAINFALL HAD ENDED ACROSS MOST OF THE WARNED AREA. RAINFALL
AMOUNTS SINCE WEDNESDAY EVENING RANGED FROM 1 TO 4 INCHES WITH THE
HIGHEST RAINFALL TOTALS IN HICKORY AND LACLEDE COUNTIES.

RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL IS CAUSING FLASH FLOODING.
CREEKS...STREAMS AND LOW WATER CROSSINGS WILL BE ESPECIALLY
SUSCEPTIBLE TO THE DANGERS OF FLASH FLOODING.

THE MOST SIGNIFICANT FLASH FLOODING IS OCCURRING IN HICKORY AND
LACLEDE COUNTIES. MANY ROADS WERE FLOODED INCLUDING IN THE LEBANON
AREA.

SOUTHWEST MISSOURI...INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREAS...IN
CENTRAL MISSOURI...BENTON...CAMDEN...HICKORY...MARIES...
MILLER...MORGAN...PHELPS...PULASKI AND ST. CLAIR. IN SOUTH
CENTRAL MISSOURI...DENT...HOWELL...OREGON...SHANNON AND
TEXAS. IN SOUTHWEST MISSOURI...DALLAS...DOUGLAS...LACLEDE...
POLK...WEBSTER AND WRIGHT.

* THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING

* ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO REDEVELOP THIS EVENING
AND MOVE ACROSS THE SAME LOCATIONS WHICH WERE IMPACTED WITH
HEAVY RAIN AND FLOODING LAST NIGHT AND THIS MORNING. ANOTHER
WIDESPREAD ONE TO TWO INCHES OF RAIN IS FORECAST WITH ISOLATED
HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE. THIS WILL LIKELY LEAD TO ADDITIONAL
FLASH FLOODING.

* REMEMBER TO NEVER DRIVE THROUGH WATER COVERED ROADWAYS.
ADDITIONALLY...BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT AS FLOODING
DANGERS ARE MUCH MORE DIFFICULT TO IDENTIFY.

* Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...rise above flood stage by tonight and continue to rise
to near 13.5 feet by tomorrow evening. The river will fall below
flood stage by Friday evening.
* Impact...At 15.0 feet...Moderate flooding begins at the gage site.
Water at the lower TA 250 Training Ground is two feet deep.

continue to rise to near 9.6 feet by tomorrow evening. The river
will fall below flood stage by late Friday morning.
* Impact...At 9.0 feet...The Happy Hollow Picnic Area floods.
