Watch...which is in effect from late Saturday night through
* IMPACTS...Dangerous cross winds on Interstate 90 at Livingston,
and on rural roads near Nye.
* TIMING...Late Saturday night and Sunday.
* WINDS...Gusts 65 to 75 mph possible.

...Snow with strong winds this afternoon and tonight...
A Pacific low pressure trough is expected to bring areas of
moderate to heavy snow showers to the mountains, developing
late this morning and becoming more widespread this afternoon and
Snowfall of 3 to 6 inches is expected above 8500 feet with areas
of 6 to 10 inches above 9500 feet. The snow level will fall into
the valleys during the evening with 1 to 3 inches possible below
The snow showers will be accompanied by strong west winds of 20
to 30 mph with gusts to 40 mph on the passes and higher ridges.
Hunters, campers and climbers should be prepared for snow and
strong gusty winds.
