...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST
THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Mixed wintry precipitation. Mainly a freezing rain event
for southeast Kansas with a mix of snow, sleet, and freezing
rain in south central and central Kansas. Snow and sleet
accumulations of up to two inches are possible in portions of
central and south central Kansas. Ice accumulations of one tenth
to two tenths of an inch are expected in south central and
southeast Kansas, with lighter ice accumulations possible in
central Kansas.

* WHERE...Portions of Central, South Central and Southeast
Kansas.

* WHEN...Until noon CST Thursday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The ice and snow/sleet will result in
difficult travel conditions, including during the morning
commute on Thursday. Be prepared for reduced visibilities at
times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while
