* PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND SOUTHWEST MISSOURI...
INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREAS...IN SOUTHEAST KANSAS...
BOURBON...CHEROKEE AND CRAWFORD. IN SOUTHWEST MISSOURI...
BARTON...JASPER...MCDONALD...NEWTON AND VERNON.

* THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING

* MULTIPLE ROUNDS OF RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TODAY AND
TOMORROW. THIS RAIN WILL BE FALLING ON SATURATED OR NEARLY
SATURATED SOIL...RESULTING IN AN INCREASED RISK FOR FLASH
FLOODING.

* SMALL STREAMS...CREEKS...AND AREA RIVERS WILL BE ESPECIALLY
SUSCEPTIBLE TO FLASH FLOODING. THOSE FLOATING OR CAMPING ON OR
NEAR AREA RIVERS SHOULD BE ALERT FOR RAPID RISES OF WATER LEVELS.

...Forecast flooding increased from Minor to Moderate severity...
The Flood Warning continues for
The Neosho River Near Oswego.* From Saturday morning until Tuesday evening.
* At 9:00 AM Friday the stage was 10.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by late Saturday morning and
continue to rise to near 21.5 feet by Sunday evening. The river
will fall below flood stage by Tuesday morning.
* Impact...At 21.0 feet...Xavier Road leading north from the river
gage bridge floods. Also 13000 Road next to the left river bank
becomes affected by flood waters.
