CENTRAL KANSAS...INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREAS...IN CENTRAL
KANSAS...BARTON...CHASE...ELLSWORTH...LINCOLN...MARION...
MCPHERSON...RICE...RUSSELL AND SALINE. IN SOUTH CENTRAL
KANSAS...BUTLER...HARVEY...KINGMAN...RENO AND SEDGWICK.

* THROUGH FRIDAY AFTERNOON.

* GROUNDS ARE ALREADY SATURATED FROM RECENT RAINFALL OVER THE PAST
SEVERAL DAYS WITH SEVERAL ROUNDS OF THUNDERSTORMS EXPECTED THIS
AFTERNOON THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. FLOODING WILL BE LIKELY
WITH ANY OF THE MORE INTENSE STORMS WITH HIGH RAINFALL RATES
EXPECTED.

The Flood Warning continues for
The Salt Creek At Barnard.
* Until late Sunday night.
* At 1:00 PM Thursday the stage was 22.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 23.0 feet by
Friday morning. The river will fall below flood stage Sunday
morning.
* Impact...At 23.3 feet...Flooding of low lying and agricultural areas
will occur. Flood waters will begin to flow over Highway 284 just
1/4 of a mile east of the river bridge.
