The Flood Watch continues for
The Mississippi River at Burlington
* Until further notice.
* At 3:30 AM Monday the stage was 13.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is possible.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage Thursday evening...and continue
rising to 15.5 feet Sunday morning.
* This forecast is based on routed flow from upstream in combination
with some snow melt. This forecast does not account for predicted
rainfall later this week which may influence future river levels.

...Locally dense fog...

Areas of fog...locally dense...has developed across portions of
extreme southeast Iowa, extreme northeast Missouri and into
portions of western Illinois. This was due to clear skies, light
winds and low level moisture.

The fog should dissipate by 8 or 9 am as southerly winds increase.

Motorists should drive with extra caution and allow additional
travel time. Use low beams, reduce speed, and allow for plenty of
room between you and other cars.
