THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GRAND JUNCTION HAS ISSUED A
WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM
THIS EVENING TO NOON MDT MONDAY.

* TIMING...FROM LATE THIS EVENING THROUGH MONDAY MORNING. THE BEST
ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED LATE TONIGHT THROUGH MID-MORNING.

* SNOW ACCUMULATION...TOTAL SNOWFALL OF 2 TO 6 INCHES...WITH THE
HIGHEST AMOUNTS EXPECTED OVER THE ELKHEAD MOUNTAINS AND RABBIT
EARS PASS ABOVE 9000 FEET.

* SNOW LEVEL...LOWERING TO NEAR THE MOUNTAIN BASES LATE TONIGHT.

* WINDS...WEST WINDS AT 10 TO 20 MPH AT RIDGE TOP.

* VISIBILITY...OCCASIONALLY 1 MILE OR LESS AT TIMES IN SNOW AND
FOG.

* IMPACTS...EXPECT SLUSHY TO SNOW PACKED ROADS ABOVE 9000 FEET.
