...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR THIS MORNING HAS EXPIRED...

* LOCATIONS...THE WESTERN SAN JUAN MOUNTAINS ABOVE 10000 FEET.

* TIMING...WHILE SHOW SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED AT TIMES THIS
AFTERNOON...SNOWFALL WILL BECOME MORE WIDESPREAD LATE THIS
EVENING. ACCUMULATIONS OF WET SNOW ARE POSSIBLE BEGINNING EARLY
SUNDAY MORNING OVER THE HIGHEST ELEVATIONS.

* SNOW ACCUMULATION...3 TO 6 INCHES WITH HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE
BEGINNING LATE TONIGHT THROUGH MONDAY MORNING ABOVE 10000 FEET.

* SNOW LEVEL...SNOWFALL IS EXPECTED DOWN TO ABOUT 8000
FEET...WITH SIGNIFICANT ACCUMULATIONS ABOVE 10,000 FEET.

* WINDS...MODERATE SOUTHWEST WINDS OF 10 TO 20 MPH AT
MOUNTAINTOP LEVEL WILL SHIFT TO THE NORTHWEST AND NORTH SUNDAY
NIGHT.

* VISIBILITY...REDUCED TO LESS THAN ONE MILE AT TIMES.

* IMPACTS...ROADS OVER THE HIGHER MOUNTAIN PASSES...INCLUDING
RED MOUNTAIN AND LIZARD HEAD PASSES...MAY BE SLUSHY OR SNOW
COVERED AT TIMES...RESULTING IN HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS.
